HEB Cook Book Nov 05, 2009

By JoEllen Blissit My HEB cookbook was given to me by my best friend, who just happens to work at HEB, and has a recipe in the book. But that's not the only plus this book has going for it. Every recipe I have made has turned out beautifully, and there are several that have become standards at our house. It's my favorite go-to cookbook when I am stumped for dinner. The Banana Nut Bread recipe is the simplest and best one I've made. I do put a generous helping of toasted pecans and I add fresh cranberries to the batter. It's beautiful and stirs up in one mixing bowl - no mixer please! I have ordered this cookbook from Amazon and given it as gifts. You'd be lucky to have this cookbook in your kitchen lineup. J. Wow, this is a great cookbook, all the recipes are soo easy to make a few ingrediants is all most of them need. Great old fashion homecooked meals and appitizers. I have friends calling me for recipes from this book.
