This book was filled with pertinent information and was a great read. Magleby is a good author. He keep it moving right along and it never became bored. He made an otherwise sleeper into a palatable study material. Easy read and the resale on this was great.

Unless you are buying this for a class, don't bother. There are a great many other books/textbooks on government out there. This one is heavily biased and it doesn't bother to even pretend not to be. The information is basic, at best-maybe high school government class? I was forced to buy it as a textbook for a college level government class and I am very highly disappointed in both the content and the grade level that it aims for. I ended up barely even having to open it for class. Bottom line: a horrible textbook.
