5Great resource and nice read, too  Feb 05, 2011 By A. Bennett "llondra"
Filled with lots of details and an enjoyable read, too (so many guidebooks are informative, but dry). Well organized so that it's easy to find specific details, or just jump in. Used extensively to plan a Texas road trip that ranged from the Piney Woods, through the Hill Country, and down to Big Bend. Provides information for routes, eateries, places to stay, things to see and do, as well as historic and other interesting facts.

4Great gift.  Aug 31, 2009 By S. Power
I bought this book as a gift and it is great. I didn't read it in great depth, but did thumb through it prior to giving. It was very inclusive, attractive, and well written.
